Sylvia Story is a natural born storyteller not given to navel gazing. She has travelled widely throughout Australia and uses her knowledge of this country as the backdrop for The Red Witch. She dislikes poor manners and a lack of good sense, loves a cigarette and a good book and could never be described as a wowser. History is her forte and she will go to any lengths in order to delve into the past and complete the necessary research for her books. An intensely private person, Sylvia discounts many of the achievements in her life, passing them off as the norm. A woman of mystery indeed.
