Sreng Ngo was born in Cambodia in 1972 during the rise of Pol Pot and the Vietnam War. In 1974 he and his family fled from Cambodia and went to live in Vietnam due to difficult circumstances. Around the age of five, through wonder and curiosity, he started to question his existence as part of his childhood fantasies.
In 1982 his family immigrated to Australia by obtaining a refugee visa. In 1990, he stopped his high school studies since he did not know what he wanted from life and did not have a sense of direction. Soon after, he helped his parents with their various small business ventures over the following years. Eventually in 1999, he managed his own business for five years.
Since the day he left school, he felt a void which led to many years of soul searching, before coming to self-realisation and understanding what life is all about.
