The author was born in Bendigo, Victoria, in the year of 1945. He attended the Golden Square State School (most of the time) and graduated to the Bendigo High School until he was fifteen. He then worked at Woolworths when it was situated in Hargreaves Street! At the age of Eighteen, he travelled to Darwin and worked with the Uniting Church Missions at a place called Milingimbi for three and a half years.

When he turned 21 he was required to travel to Brisbane ... toaChurch College at Kangaroo Point ... for religious instruction. He found the woman of his dreams and spent two more years making sure that she became his wife! They then returned to the Northern Territory for a further term this time at Yirrkala and Goulburn Island.

Then they returned to Brisbane and bought a house in the suburb of Murarrie and he supported (with his wife’s help) his family by driving taxis in and around Brisbane for the next twenty (or so) years. Much of this book was written in the front seat of a taxi in the middle of the night whilst waiting for the next fare to materialise out of the darkness!

Upon his eventual retirement he moved to a quiet place called Bribie Island and has since spent many hours putting his stories into a readable manuscript form.

What you are about to read from here-on in has been put through the wringer and finally become a cohesive story.

Please enjoy what you are about to read and remember that this is only the start!

There is more to come!

Yours ... (alias .... Handria)
