The author is forty six and lives with his two children in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. In addition to writing he enjoys skiing, sailing, fine food, antiques, classical music and dabbling in piano improvisation. A study of South Asian History at tertiary level inspired an interest in alternative religions, and although the content was not overtly spiritual, the author experienced a series of insights in the study of such arcane philosophies as Tantricism and Sufism that shaped his understanding of the luminary and asomatous world in a highly individualistic way. Always unwilling to be confined by systems and ideologies, the author has led an unconventional life, and appreciates hidden delights, natural beauty and stirring zetetic conversation.
