Cassandra Jose was born in New Zealand in 1957 and has lived in Australia since the age of fourteen. She has worked as a social worker, a public sector manager and has run a fabric retail business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Graduate Diploma of Primary Teaching. She has attended writing courses, been involved in women’s groups, heritage and environment protection and politics.
Cassandra Jose lives in a blend of tranquility and chaos with her partner, her two sons and her stepson on the wonderful Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
