Michael Joseph Stanton was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 1958. He was schooled by the Christian Brothers and is a graduate of Griffith University.
After careers in retail and wholesale banking, real estate and government, he took up writing.
Michael is an initiate of the Mankind Project and is still currently living in Brisbane.
