Born in 1947, Mark M Whitelaw forged a career in retail and wholesale before
venturing into self-employment. The last ten years have been spent with great
satisfaction in the tourist and travel industry.
The Tinderbox is a first novel for Mark, but thoughts of writing began as far
back as 1988. Lifestyle demands and the pursuits of a growing family saw him
not commence work on this manuscript until 2002
