Brenda was born in Kamloops, British Columbia, and raised in nearby Cache Creek. She went on from post-secondary schooling to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Economics, from the University of British Columbia. Brenda has spent much of her working career in the insurance industry in administration and, in more recent years, information systems. At the time of writing A Love Unforsaken she was enjoying the challenge of designing and testing database systems for one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. Brenda’s creativity is not limited to her profession and writing. It is also reflected in her crafting activities. Reading, sewing and cycling are among her other pastimes.
