Kevin Vodden

Born and educated in England, now resident in Australia, Kevin Vodden spent most of his childhood in the village of Chawton, a mere few hundred metres from the house occupied in the early 19th century by Jane Austen. Not at the time inspired by the great writer, his dry sense of humour and surreal thinking developed during his teenage years under the combined influence of the comedy of Monty Python, the adventures of Doctor Who and the visual masterpieces of Salvador Dalì. Beginning writing in his late thirties, the author has cultivated an unconventional style in his stories that has grown from those early influences which recognized no limits to the extent of human imagination.
