Hayley Payton was born in Victoria, Australia, and lives with her parents and a brother. She attended Keilor Downs Primary School and is currently in year 9 at Keilor Downs College.
She began writing stories at an early age and completed this novel in year 7. She uses dreams, music, scenery and places around her as inspiration for storylines.
Hayley has completed a sequel to Nero Shadows, Dark Eclissi and is currently working on the third book in the series.
In her spare time, she writes fan fiction on the Internet and enjoys playing sport, seeing movies, reading manga, watching Anime, being with friends and playing PS2.
Hayley’s dream is a career as a professional writer.
