Poetry is the stuff that doesn?t reach the edges of paper?.
Concise, that?s me! A past member of The Fellowship of Australian Writers:
Society of Women?s Writers: The Sutherland Shire Writing Group: the latter, with
guidance from Laurel Dumbrell and peer group feed-back, soon had me sending work
off to publishers. My numerous published works cover varied genres: short stories,
historical articles, award-winning play writing, humorous verse and bush poetry.
Condensing a many-paged volume into legible verse was indeed a challenge. If
I have succeeded, Crushed Classics combines the spirit of the tale
with the essence of the storyline.
As the river meanders, so poetry generates that same freedom for emotional rambling.
