I was born into a middle-class family in Hong Kong. Being the only girl and youngest in the family, I was spoilt, especially during my childhood. Mum placed a lot of importance on my education and did not let me do any household chores. I did not disappoint my parents and excelled in my studies including the award of a scholarship with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University where I finished my tertiary education in Business Studies majoring in Banking.
