Allan Stanton was born in Brisbane in 1947. His early childhood and schooling followed his father?s postings as an Ampol rep to several Queensland country towns.
His love of the game of golf saw him secure an apprenticeship in Warwick at the age of 16.
Unable to re-enter the golf pro world after his return from National Service, he began a career in sales, which gave him the backing and experience to start his own successful pharmacy sales business in 1992.
A parent, step-father and proud grandfather, the author has now found the time to write his story, before he forgets.
