Co-author biography-Of Norwegian extraction, Freya Sundt was born in England in 1958. Growing up in the country in a very equine-oriented family, Freya’s passion for riding initially took her into a career with horses.
Marrying and moving to London, Freya developed a subsequent and very different career through opportunity rather than any grand plan, becoming a word processing consultant in the early days of personal computing.
In 1984, Freya joined an elite IT company which developed database systems for the Executive Search Industry. With great success in Europe, Freya purchased the rights for the Asia-Pacific region, and moved to Australia in 1987. Freya built a solid business throughout the region, and was persuaded to cross the line into Headhunting.
Working in both management of consulting teams and active Headhunting, Freya became a Partner with one of the major Global Executive Search firms, with regional responsibilities.
Ill health caused Freya to have to retire from the cut and thrust of corporate life in 2005. While convalescing, she started to write, initially from her own experiences and then as a co-writer with others whose personal stories are worth telling.
All Freya’s work revolves around human nature; finding the extraordinary behind the ordinary, and representing it in the written form.
