Born in 1952, Margaret emigrated with her family from England in 1961. Her work-life has varied, including many years as a graphic designer in the textile industry, a commissioned artist in oils and other mediums, and even working on a farm.
Since retirement, she has co-founded a support group for Camp Quality and written a monthly book review for the local newsletter.
She has been writing for twenty years, exploring poetry, playwriting, and fantasy. She is also an avid reader and loves children’s books. It was this love that inspired her to delve into the magic and imagination of these wonderful stories and write her own. The result is Merlin’s School for Ordinary Children – Ring of Curses, which is her first published novel.
She has two grown children and now lives in a small seaside town on the east coast of Tasmania.
