Mary grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She has always loved reading books because they transported her to exotic places, introduced her to amazing characters and piqued her interest in page-turning narratives. She left Melbourne and travelled to London, Europe and the US, and eventually settled in Adelaide. Her love of books inspired her to teach English Literature so that she could bring books to life for her many students. Writing has always been an irresistible force for her and she thrives in the joy of creating stories.
