I was born in Melbourne in 1947. I live about forty kilometres southeast of Melbourne, Australia in one of the most beautiful pockets of Victoria with my husband and dog Nelson. We are also fortunate to own a small property on the Great Ocean Road at Lorne, a really gorgeous little seaside village on the southeast coast of Victoria. It is definitely one of the most glorious parts of Victoria and, I daresay, the world.
It is incredible to me that at this stage of my life I have written my first book; it has given me a strong desire to write again. I feel very blessed by the Holy Spirit to have been able to fulfil my dream to write. I have been interested in writing and screenwriting for quite a few years, but perhaps I never felt I had anything to say. God has given me my voice.
For the most part, my life has not been that unusual or remarkable until recently, apart from the extraordinary within the ordinary, such as seeing a child being brought into the world, marrying your soul mate or raising your children to be very special, caring and loving adults. That was always very important to us.
In addition to writing, I also love gardening, cooking and decorating as I adore filling our home with family and friends on a regular basis. It’s one of life’s joys to share a great meal, lively conversation, laughter and, of course, a bottle of wine, with great friends and a special family.
