Nancye Kent Perry

Nancye Kent Perry always considered herself fortunate in that during her working life she was involved in her two great loves; research and painting.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney in 1945 having worked as a laboratory assistant with the CSIR's National Standards Laboratory in the Physics Section, Nancye ndertook post graduate studies in entomology, and in 1954 was appointed to the Commonwealth Health Department's Plant Quarantine Division where she worked in the field studying the effects of the Sirex woodwasp.

A highly respected oils and watercolour painter, Nancye's exhibitions have been received with considerable success.
