Ron Thomas

Ron Thomas is a man with a passion for things Australian and the events and people that changed the country from a penal colony into today’s diverse culture. He retired from the position he had held for more than 20 years as Managing Director of Anitech, a highly successful Australian computer maintenance company in order to write.
Though still a Director of the company, much of his time is spent researching suitable subjects for present and future stories.
He is a keen and regular participant in various sports including cycling, tennis, golf, surfing and swimming. His many and varied other interests include music and snorkelling in and around Manly and he paints landscapes for relaxation. Ron resides in Fairlight, in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney.
Previously he has written the lyrics for the musical Ballaarat, based on the events at the Eureka Stockade and two books of poetry.
