I'm 46 years old and I have been writing for twelve years. Before I was a writer, I was a nurse, and I can certainly say that I prefer my second career over my first. Nursing is a very hard profession, sometimes cruel. I enjoyed writing How Long do You Wait? immensely. It is the easiest book I have ever written – a book that was meant to be.
