In the book “I Do Recall” written by Mr Jeff Carr and published by Sid Harta Publishers Pty Ltd, a statement appeared on page 353 of the book to the effect that Mr Graeme Mickelberg was convicted of theft of gold from the Perth Mint.
The reference to Mr Graeme Mickelberg was an error made by Mr Carr upon whom Sid Harta Publishers Pty Ltd relied.
Mr Graeme Mickelberg was never charged or convicted of theft of gold from the Perth Mint and, in fact, has never been charged with any criminal offence.
Mr Jeff Carr and Sid Harta Publishers Pty Ltd deeply regret the error that has occurred.
