Born in Gladstone Queensland, Angela Caterson spent her childhood moving regularly from town to town with her family and police officer father. Exposure to warts and all humanity from living around police stations for most of her life fostered a keen interest in human behaviour from a young age. After finding herself divorced with three children and working in bars for a living by the time she was 22 years old, Angela began reconstructing her life by attending university and studying behavioural sciences. In January 1999, Angela decided to put her education into practise by joining the Queensland Police Service. Observing through her police experiences many young adults plagued with attitudes that serve to destroy them and their loved ones, Angela determined to combine her life experiences and love of writing to compile stories designed to assist in improving the attitudes of the reader. Angela’s first project is the "Efalin Series" and was written for her children, niece and nephews as a Christmas present.
