Dawn Barr lives in a small rural town in East Gippsland. She writes stories for children, short stories and poetry. She has been a member of Writers Victoria for 22 years, ever since retiring at age 53 and has been honing her skills to satisfy a love of writing. She has won commendations for poetry and for short story writing and has had a story printed on ABC online. She has assisted her husband, in an editing role, with five self-published nonfiction works.
This is her first venture into a published book.
