Don W. Puckridge

Don Puckridge was involved with agricultural systems in South and SE Asia for over 20 years. Sixteen years of this involved research on deeply-flooded rice ecosystems for The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and developing collaborative regional research projects in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. In Cambodia he worked closely with government officials and village leaders from 1986 and provided logistical support to the Cambodia-IRRI-Australia-Project from the IRRI office in Bangkok when that project commenced in 1989.
