Dion Danalis is a veterinary surgeon who went straight from university one week after graduation to start a rural practice in country Victoria.
After seven years he sold out and moved back to Queensland to start a small animal practice and build a small animal hospital with his brother Jim, also a veterinarian.
Dion became involved in the export of livestock to the Pacific Islands and SE Asia. He was also an administrator for greyhound racing for the Queensland government for 14 years.
He is now happy in retirement.
