Eve Grafton was born in Western Australia and after her marriage spent many years overseas with her husband. They returned to Australia for their sons' education. Later in life they lived on a hobby farm, becoming practically self-sufficient, with meat, wine and vegetables all from the farm from their own, satisfying hard work. They now live in Perth, Western Australia, enjoying visits from their sons and their families and Eve has replaced her many other hobbies with writing novels.
