Leonie Johnson is married with two adult children. She began her working life within the finance sector and recently decided to follow her creative dreams. Her family is her greatest love and supports her many writing journeys. She enjoys helping others and being part of social groups and clubs. No event is too small to help organise.
She started her writing life with short stories (life) poems in place of seemingly boring speeches. She progressed her artistic imagination and bold dreams, which sparked her creative ability into writing novels. Her writing allowed her to step out from the day-to-day humdrum of life and into the make believe.
Her eight-month journey around Australia in 2015, travelling in a 1960 Triumph TR3a sports car gave her time to “smell the roses”, enabling her to write a large portion of her novel and open her mind.
