Peter Lascelles was born in Sydney in 1956. He is married to Sandra, has three children and five grandchildren. He lives on a small farm in the Paterson Valley about an hour west of Newcastle. Peter worked as a primary and special education teacher in the Hunter Valley before moving to Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea where he became principal of a large international school. He has also worked extensively on his family farm. Rosie's Lie is his first book.
