Rhonda Schwab was born in 1947 in Burwood Victoria, and attended primary and secondary schools in Ashburton and Ashwood, respectively. Rhonda worked as a dental nurse for some time and she also took on some retail positions. She loved English at school and always thought she might one day take up writing. Her knowledge of one victim’s suffering — hopelessness, sadness, worthlessness and fear — from being bullied back in the fifties when she was growing up, and her awareness of its prevalence in society today compelled her to write this account in the hope it would act as a warning to children and adults. Rhonda lives in Mulgrave, Victoria with her husband. She has two adult children.
