Rob Aalders grew up in Ireland, Germany and Malaya before arriving in Australia
in the mid 1960s. He later travelled and worked in Europe, America and Asia before
returning to Australia in 1990.
Rob is an author, playwright and management consultant in the field of information
technology. His published works include two management texts. His plays, Antigone
Unplugged, Creon’s Story and Second Best all won awards when produced in
Sydney and Canberra.
He is married to Margaret, a watercolour artist, and has two children: Julian,
a fine arts auctioneer and valuer; and Gemma, a fashion designer. He lives in
the Kanimbla Valley on the western slopes of the Blue Mountains.
His interests include Outback travel, mountaineering and reading.
