Robert Scott was born and raised in England. He did his military service in Cyprus and migrated to Australia while still in his twenties. Between many jobs, he engaged in a lot of shoestring-budget travelling, including long overland trips (Sydney to London and England to India et cetera).
Now that Robert is seriously middle-aged and spectacularly poor, he travels mainly in his mind. He lives in Sydney.
