Ron Ward

Ron Ward has been a Sydney resident all his life. He and wife Brenda live in a bushland suburb, in a house they built over fifty years ago Their son, an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales, also lives in Sydney.
He has worked as an apprentice, tradesman, draftsman, project engineer, maintenance engineer, factory manager, consulting engineer, academic, and accident investigator on the way to his present position as a company director. Many of those positions have overlapped, and all have contributed to what?s in A Project in Ammonia, his first novel. On the path through that work-life he collected a Trades Certificate, an ASTC Diploma, a BE from the University of New South Wales, an MBA from Macquarie University, and a PhD from the University of New South Wales. He has maintained his academic connection by being appointed as a Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales, and has published well over a hundred-and-thirty papers on engineering, management, industrial safety and education, and three books:
