Frank Craig found himself on board ship sharing his meals at a table for eight with seven fellow passengers who are to influence his life and change his destiny. He becomes aware that many of the passengers are old people and that he is one of them but that doesn?t prevent becoming involved in a romantic entanglement ? among other things ? or playing a part in a strange series of events that includes a robbery and possible murder.
