General
There is blood on the slopes of Vinegar Hill. Good Irish blood. The blood of men, women and children trampled into the mud by the army of General Lake. After Maggie Flannery is dragged from the battlefield and viciously raped, she escapes to begin her personal crusade of revenge - a campaign that takes her to the rebel camp of Joseph Holt in the Wicklow Mountains and then on to the battlefield of Longford. Ultimately recaptured, she is tried for treason and sent to the colony of New South Wales on the death ship Atlas. There, she must decide whether she will give up the fight, or stand once more with her Irish compatriots at the Second Battle of Vinegar Hill.
