AR Puttee was born in 1978 in New South Wales, where the family lived for a few years before moving to Brisbane, Queensland. He now considers Brisvegas, Queensland to be his home. From the moment AR Puttee first learned to hold a pencil in his hand at an early age, he has never put it down. During his high school studies he excelled in art. He went on to study digital art media in tertiary college before moving into traditional animation. In his second year of studying traditional animation he was offered his first job in the entertainment industry working in television. Since high school AR Puttee has been collaborating with KC Webb in the writing and illustrating of Dream Raider. His inspiration as an artist has developed from watching films, reading comics and working creatively on the development of video games. AR Puttee is well regarded by his friends, peers and family as an enthusiastic, high-spirited person with endless drive and determination. Since finalising the artwork for Dream Raider, he has started working on the visual development for the next supernatural adventure featuring Johnny Marsh.
