To give you an idea of my background in writing I'd best go back to the beginning. As there was no beginning I'd best fast forward to my senior year at high school where for the first time, but definitely not the last time I failed year 12 English. I guess it was also around that time I also vowed that if there was one thing I would never do in my life it would be to write a novel. I even had another attempt at senior English further down the track. While again I failed there was a certain article I wrote that sparked some hope that maybe there was a writer of some description hiding within my subconscious.
I guess it was my love of certain movies that inspired me to start experimenting with different plots, until finally stumbling onto what I believed was a good basis for a story. In 1995 I spent a number of months travelling around the USA on a very low budget. On return to Australia my attention eventually returned to the fact I wanted to write the fictional piece I'd perceived years earlier. As I began new ideas spawned my first manuscript'Only Time Will Tell?. In 2002 I started work on the original piece' The American Dream', only this time it was priority number one.
