Don Watson was born in New Zealand and came to live in Australia in the 1970s. He travelled for the next ten years before returning to Australia in the 1990s to live there permanently.
He has worked in many occupations and has been a clerk, building contracts manager, assistant factory production manager, semi-pro musician, bricklayer’s labourer and CNC machine operator, among others. A long-time avid reader, he first tried his hand at writing in the early 1990s, concentrating mostly on short stories. Some of his work has been read on radio, published in print and the electronic media.
The Mystic Touch is his first foray into longer works of fiction.
