Hadassah Pomeroy was born in Tel-Aviv in Israel and is married with three children.
She served with the Israeli Air Force for two years. Hadassah speaks five languages.
Hadassah resided in Singapore working as a freelance interpreter and translator, and found Singapore to be an exhilarating place to live. Amongst her other activities she also taught Hebrew and English.
Accompanied by an anthropologist-doctor and a cameraman, she navigated up the mighty river Amazon in an old tug boat. This was a once in a lifetime experience, involving extensive contacts and meetings with the South American Indians.
Some time was spent with the four foot pygmies in the Ituri Forest of the Belgian Congo. She hunted with them, but hunting there was for survival not for sport. They were a thrilling people.
In addition she had an exciting time living with the Bushmen of the Kalahari desert.
In Australia she composed ballads and a light operetta. She has also written two musicals, several short stories and a play (Unpublished). At present she is working on other music.
