The author is a retired electrician who is married with four children and three grandchildren.
His early working life was spent in electrical installation work. He later moved into building services management in telecommunications computer centres.
He has always dabbled in real estate, having bought and sold a number of investment properties, and he still attends numerous auctions.
Now retired, he is able to spend more time on the golf course, take an active interest in horse racing and even find time to write a novel.
