Lance Atkins was born in 1961 in the western suburbs of Sydney, moving to Western Australia in 1969.
Lance has been fortunate enough to see most of Australia and South East Asia during his prior service in the Royal Australian Navy, and was awarded the Conspicuous Service Medal in 1998.
He spends his time writing, restoring classic cars and trying his hand at amateur photography.
