Marie Lukic has completed a Bachelor of Arts, English major (La Trobe University), further studies in Education, Journalism (Deakin University) and a Diploma in Professional Writing & Editing (NMIT). She has a children’s book published internationally with Thomas Nelson called Pasquale’s Gift. Marie has also had articles, stories and poetry published in Infusion (NMIT). Recently, she has ventured into academic writing with her publication of The Leading Edge: Maestro for VCE English Text Guide about Goldsworthy’s famous novel (Harcourt Education). She also teaches English, English language and Business Management to students at a secondary college in Melbourne.
Marie lives on a small acreage on the outskirts of Melbourne with her husband, children, a pony, five chickens, two ducks, a goose (who thinks it’s a rooster!) and two dogs.
