Noel George Tuckey was born at Wau, New Guinea and began a distinguished writing career as a freelance journalist and columnist at age 35, contributing articles to motoring and boating publications based in Japan, England, New Zealand and Australia. His interests include antique vehicle restorations, historic car racing and writing enormously entertaining novels.
