Lomuro refers to himself as an international gypsy whose refugee journey took him and his family in 1992 from Southern Sudan to Uganda, Kenya, and finally to Australia. Blessed with the strong cultural values that his family instilled in him, Lomuro continues to rise above his traumatic past. He is a graduate in Public Health from La Trobe University in Melbourne and has worked in Community Services in the areas of health, disability and mental health, and youth service. Lomuro is married and currently resides in Darwin. This Face marks his debut as a writer.
