Born at the Royal Navy Maternity Hospital, Southsea, Portsmouth, on 8 July 1939, two months before World War II, I have long believed there have been aspects of my life well worth recording.
Such as surviving several life-threatening situations and seeing God, as well as many more ordinary events.
Overall, I considered it a fairly ordinary life until I realised that nobody's life is ordinary. Everybody is extraordinary. So, to the extraordinary person reading this introduction, please read on.
